My name is Megan Carper and I am the owner of Companions in Serenity. I have loved animals all of my life and ever since I was a child have had pets. I have had everything from cats and dogs to fish, birds and snakes. Helping animals and people is my passion.

I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2005. I traveled to Ankara, Turkey in 2006 for 9 months on a Fulbright Teaching Assistanship.

I am certified through the Red Cross in Pet First Aid and am currently training through the Animal Behavior College to become a Certified Dog Trainer.

I have two cats, Romulus and Remus.
